About Pony Club
Poway Valley Pony Club (PVPC) was formed in June 1982 as a member of the United States Pony Clubs, Southern California Region. We have between 25 and 35 active members ranging from ages 6 through 21. There are 5 riding groups that are formed according to the riding level of the students. We meet at the Poway Valley Riders Association on Tierra Bonita Road in Poway, California.
PVPC is one of the most active clubs in our region. We provide an excellent comprehensive program of teamwork and fun! Our members do very well in local, regional and national competitions.
We teach all phases of English riding, including dressage, stadium teaching and competing, and are committed to educating and encouraging our members. Our upper-level pony clubbers also teach under supervision.
